Ruth Jacott in USC 1995!


Ruth Jacott will represent The Netherlands in the 1995 USC with the song "Ik ga door!" (I'll go on /survive)

She won the national selection by a landslide where she competed in a field of 4 contestants; Gerard Joling (Zing met me mee, 2nd), Glennis Grace (I'm gonna be strong, 3rd) & Charly Lownoise feat. Menthal Theo (Wonderfull days, 4th)

In search of a masterpiece to enter the United Song Contest - Winter Edition 2007 The Netherlands organised a national final with 14 contestants. (which can be found here: http://s25.quicksharing.com/v/5522896/NF_The_Netherlands.rar.html)


Last friday was the deadline to vote and these are the results:

song nr. 2: Do - Heaven (piano version), 40 points, 3rd -> entrant USC 2nd Chance Contest (2007 Winter)

song nr. 4: Trijntje Oosterhuis - I'll never fall in love again, 20 points, equal 7th

song nr. 5: Glennis Grace - Absolutely not!!, 38 points, 4th

song nr. 6: Judith - You, 20 points, equal 7th

song nr. 7: Luv' - You're The Greatest Lover, 12 points, equal 12th

song nr. 8: Krezip - I would stay, 18 points, 9th

song nr. 9: Edsilia Rombley - Dan ben ik van jou!, 49 points, 2nd, runner up *

song nr. 10: Ilse DeLange - Tapdancing on a highwire, 12 points, equal 12th

song nr. 12: Total Touch - I'll say goodbye, 17 points, 10th

song nr. 13: Elize - Automatic (I'm talking to you), 16 points, 11th

song nr. 14: Alma Nieto - Through my eyes, 23 points, 5th



*Having participated in the USC 2006 Autumn, 2nd Chance edition, this song is withdrawn for the 2007 winter edition of USC 2nd Chance and replaced by the third ranked song.
