Dutch preselection 2008 USC winter edition

These are artists and songs will be trying to qualify in one big final for the next USC Winter edition (2008) in alphabetical order:

1997 Ruth beats again!

The dutch 1997 preselection is won by Ruth jacott.

The winner of the 1995 History USC edition, convinced the audience with a stunning performance of her song "Hartslag" (Heartbeat). The 1997 preselection was a tough competition with many quality songs. The only song which scored nil points was the typical noise of gabber-sound (a locally well-known hardcore house style in the Netherlands) by the PartyAnimals who covered Olivia Newton John.

3. Marco Borsato & Trijntje Oosterhuis - Wereld zonder jou (World without you)

Ruth was overwhelmed by the success and said at the rpessconference she now wants to beat her 1995 success. In 1995 she won the USC History Edition with the song "Ik ga door!" (I move on!)

Volumia! close to the victory congratulated Ruth with her success and wish her all the best. In the meantime they will prepare for the 2ndC 1997 contest, allthough it's now sure that contest will take place.
